Kylian Mbappé Scores Hat-Trick as PSG Eliminates Bayern Munich 4-1 to Reach Champions League Semifinals
The French superstar's brilliant performance at Parc des Princes completed a 5-3 aggregate victory and sent the Parisian giants into the final four.

Kylian Mbappé delivered a Champions League masterpiece Tuesday night, scoring a spectacular hat-trick to power Paris Saint-Germain to a commanding 4-1 victory over Bayern Munich at Parc des Princes, completing a 5-3 aggregate triumph that sends PSG into the semifinals of Europe's premier competition.

The 27-year-old French captain was simply unstoppable throughout the return leg, showcasing the pace, finishing ability, and big-game mentality that has made him one of world football's most feared attackers. Mbappé opened the scoring in the 23rd minute with a trademark run from deep before adding two more goals in the second half to seal Bayern's fate.

"This is what I came to PSG for – nights like this in the Champions League," Mbappé said after the match. "Bayern are one of the best teams in Europe, so to beat them and reach the semifinals feels incredible. The atmosphere from our fans was amazing, and we fed off that energy."

PSG took control of the tie early when Mbappé latched onto a perfectly weighted through ball from Marco Verratti, rounding Manuel Neuer before slotting into an empty net. The goal silenced the traveling Bayern supporters and gave the home crowd something to celebrate after a tense first 20 minutes.

Bayern equalized against the run of play through Jamal Musiala's clever finish in the 41st minute, but PSG's response was immediate and devastating. Mbappé restored the lead just before halftime with a curled effort from the edge of the box that flew into the top corner past a helpless Neuer.

The French star completed his hat-trick in style with 15 minutes remaining, racing onto a long ball from Marquinhos before finishing with composure to send Parc des Princes into delirium. Neymar added a fourth goal in stoppage time to cap off a memorable European night for the capital club.

The victory represents PSG's best Champions League performance since reaching the final in 2020 and validates their significant investment in world-class talent. With Mbappé in this kind of form and the team showing improved tactical discipline under coach Christophe Galtier, PSG will fancy their chances against any opponent in the semifinals.
