Luka Doncic Sets All-Star Three-Point Record in Thrilling Contest Victory
Dallas Mavericks superstar breaks 15-year-old record with spectacular shooting display at NBA All-Star Weekend.

Luka Doncic made history at the 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend, shattering the All-Star Three-Point Contest record with a spectacular performance that left fans and fellow players in awe. The Dallas Mavericks superstar scored 31 points in the final round, breaking Stephen Curry's 2021 record of 28 points.

The 27-year-old Slovenian sensation started slowly in the first round, barely qualifying for the finals with 22 points. However, he found his rhythm when it mattered most, connecting on his first seven attempts in the championship round and finishing with a near-perfect performance from the money ball rack.

"I knew I had to step up," Doncic said after receiving the trophy. "The crowd was incredible, and when you're playing alongside the best shooters in the world, you want to show what you can do. This feels amazing."

The contest took place at Chase Center in San Francisco, with a sold-out crowd witnessing one of the most memorable shooting displays in All-Star history. Doncic defeated defending champion Damian Lillard and rising star Paolo Banchero in the final round, with both competitors posting impressive scores of their own.

Doncic's victory caps off an outstanding season for the Mavericks star, who is currently averaging 32.4 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 8.7 assists per game while leading Dallas to second place in the Western Conference. His three-point shooting has improved dramatically this season, connecting on 38.2% of his attempts from beyond the arc.

The All-Star Weekend continues tomorrow with the Celebrity Game and Rising Stars Challenge, followed by Sunday's main event featuring Team LeBron versus Team Giannis. Doncic will represent Team Giannis as a starter, looking to add another accolade to his already impressive weekend performance.
