The Ammies currently sit seventh in the League Two table, holding a slender two-point advantage over the relegation zone while simultaneously being just three points behind the final playoff position. A victory tonight could propel Salford back into contention for the top-seven finish that would secure a place in the promotion playoffs.
"This is exactly the kind of match we needed at this stage of the season," Stark told the club's official website. "Bromley are fighting for their survival, which makes them incredibly dangerous opponents. We need to match their intensity from the first whistle."
Bromley arrive at Gigg Lane in desperate circumstances, sitting 21st in the table and just one point above the relegation zone following a run of just one win in their last six matches. Manager Andy Hacking has demanded a response from his squad after their 3-1 defeat to Barrow last weekend.
"We know what's at stake," Hacking stated. "Salford will come at us, they're a good side with quality players. But we have everything to play for as well, and I expect my players to show exactly what they're made of tonight."
The match carries significant implications for both clubs' seasons, with Salford seeking to build on their recent 2-0 victory over Tranmere Rovers, while Bromley look to end a four-match winless streak on the road.
Salford will be without midfielder Elliot Watt, who serves a one-match suspension after accumulating five yellow cards, but otherwise have a clean bill of health. The hosts are expected to stick with the 4-2-3-1 formation that proved effective against Tranmere, with striker Aaron Morley leading the line.
Kick-off is scheduled for 7:45 PM GMT, with Sky Sports providing full coverage from Gigg Lane.
