Enciso equaliser earns Ipswich 2-2 draw as Hull's winless run reaches eight
Julio Enciso scored the equaliser as Ipswich drew 2-2 with Hull at the MKM Stadium, denying the hosts a victory after they had come from behind. According to the Guardian's match report, the result preserved Hull's unbeaten home record but extended their winless run to eight games, with both teams having held the lead.

Ipswich controlled much of the first-half possession and went ahead through Florentino Luis in the 22nd minute. He advanced down the right, moved past Nobel Mendy and beat goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis. Enciso appeared to add a second with a header from a corner after 37 minutes, but referee Thomas Kirk disallowed the goal for Abdul Fatawu's foul on Oli McBurnie.
The visitors continued to threaten after the interval, with Emersonn working through Hull's defence before shooting into the side-netting. Hull then began to create more danger of their own. Christian Walton was tested by a Lewie Coyle cross before Tim Iroegbunam brought the hosts level in the 58th minute, running onto McBurnie's pass and finishing after finding space on the right.
Hull's improvement produced a second goal 10 minutes later. McBurnie drove a free-kick through the wall and past Walton to turn the match around, following an earlier effort from Coyle that went wide. Their advantage lasted only six minutes, however, as Enciso worked through the home defence and struck from just outside the penalty area to make it 2-2.
Enciso's contribution followed his equaliser in Ipswich's 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest the previous week. In comments reported by the Guardian, Ipswich manager Gary O'Neil said he believed his side had been better for most of the contest, while acknowledging the value of an away Premier League point. He also credited Hull's ability to punish mistakes despite not dominating possession or creating sustained pressure on goal.
Hull manager Sergej Jakirovic said his team should have managed the closing 20 minutes more effectively. While praising Enciso's finish, he felt the equaliser could have been prevented. Jakirovic remained positive despite describing a wait of almost two months for a win, with Hull left to take another draw after losing their brief second-half lead.
