Paris Saint-Germain have secured the long-term future of head coach Luis Enrique, extending his contract through 2030. The three-year renewal was announced at the Parc des Princes before PSG's Ligue 1 home match against Monaco on Friday, 4 September. His previous agreement had been due to expire at the end of the 2026-27 season.

BBC Sport reported that the 56-year-old has guided PSG to back-to-back Champions League trophies and three Ligue 1 titles since taking charge in July 2023. EFE added that those European triumphs were the first two Champions League titles in the club's history, with PSG defeating Inter Milan in the 2025 final and Arsenal in the 2026 final.

The announcement formed part of a wider effort to lock in the core of the club's project. PSG also renewed the contracts of Joao Neves, Willian Pacho, Lucas Beraldo and Senny Mayulu through 2031. Spain midfielder Fabian Ruiz agreed an extension through 2028.
