Pittsburgh Steelers Unveil Massive Fan Experience for 2026 NFL Draft
The Steelers are creating a 12,000 square-foot "Steelers Country" experience at Point State Park during the NFL Draft.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are rolling out the black and gold carpet for the 2026 NFL Draft with an ambitious fan experience that promises to transform Point State Park into the ultimate destination for Steelers Nation.

"Steelers Country," a sprawling 12,000 square-foot interactive space, will serve as the franchise's official fan headquarters during the three-day draft festivities. The free-admission experience represents the organization's commitment to celebrating their passionate fanbase during one of the NFL's marquee events.

"With our deep football roots and central location, we know fans from across the league will flock to Pittsburgh for this year's Draft," said Dan Rooney, Vice President of Strategy for the Pittsburgh Steelers. "We wanted to create a dedicated place for our fans to gather, celebrate our traditions, and enjoy a memorable Draft experience together."

The centerpiece attraction features larger-than-life replicas of all six Super Bowl championship rings, allowing fans to get up close with symbols of the franchise's legendary success. Adjacent to this display, visitors can view the actual Lombardi Trophies from the team's championship seasons.

A unique "Immersive Fan Cave" will transport supporters back to the 1970s with a meticulously recreated Pittsburgh basement, complete with the authentic look and feel of a classic Steelers fan's home. This nostalgic experience captures the essence of Steel City football culture during the team's dominant dynasty years.

The Steelers Nation Unite Bar offers a global perspective on the franchise's worldwide appeal, featuring rotating themes from Steelers bars around the world. Meanwhile, a custom art installation celebrates the iconic Terrible Towel, one of professional sports' most recognizable symbols.

Beyond static displays, Steelers Country will host live programming throughout the weekend. Current players and franchise legends will participate in question-and-answer sessions, while the main stage will feature live draft coverage and daily entertainment. The highlight programming includes the "Steelers Draft Countdown Show" on both Thursday and Friday evenings.

Interactive elements ensure engagement for fans of all ages, with yard games and branded photo opportunities scattered throughout the venue. These activities complement the more traditional exhibits while creating social media-worthy moments for visitors.

The experience officially opens Thursday, April 23rd at noon and runs through Saturday, April 25th at 6 PM, with extended hours on the first two days until 10 PM. A formal ribbon-cutting ceremony will mark the opening on April 22nd.

For a franchise known for its devoted following, Steelers Country represents more than just a marketing activation. It's an acknowledgment of the special relationship between the organization and its supporters, offering a space where Steelers Nation can unite during one of the sport's biggest weekends.

The timing couldn't be better, as Pittsburgh prepares to showcase itself on the national stage while the Steelers look to add future talent to their storied roster.
