Ravens lose Jackson and Huntley to injuries in 36-10 defeat by Bills
Baltimore lost both Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley to injuries as Buffalo beat the Ravens 36-10 on Sunday, forcing undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano into his NFL debut. The defeat was Baltimore's third in a row and left the Ravens at 4-4, according to BBC Sport, with another game approaching on Thursday against Jacksonville.

Jackson's return from a three-game absence with an ankle injury lasted only one offensive snap. NFL.com reported that he hurt his right thumb when his throwing hand struck a Buffalo defender while attempting a pass to Zay Flowers. He left the field and went to the locker room, with Huntley taking over at quarterback.
Huntley's appearance also ended early after he suffered a toe injury in the second quarter. Fagnano was then left to finish the game. BBC Sport reported that Jackson is set to undergo surgery and could miss the remainder of the season. That remains a possibility rather than a confirmed outcome, while Huntley could also face weeks out.
The Ravens' official game report recorded Fagnano completing 10 of 21 passes for 91 yards, with an interception and a lost fumble. Baltimore managed 52 yards of offense before halftime and 144 overall, compared with Buffalo's 426. The Bills were credited with four sacks and 12 quarterback hits as the depleted Ravens struggled to sustain their attack.
Baltimore did produce defensive takeaways. Roquan Smith forced a fumble from DJ Moore that T.J. Tampa recovered, and Broderick Washington Jr. made his first career interception. Derrick Henry finished the possession following Washington's pick with a two-yard touchdown run. Those moments were not enough to prevent a heavy defeat, with the quarterback changes dominating Baltimore's afternoon.
Buffalo's own game recap credited Josh Allen with 289 passing yards and two touchdown throws, plus 30 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. The Bills improved to 6-1. Baltimore now has a short turnaround before hosting the Jaguars, with Jackson's latest injury and Huntley's availability leaving the team facing immediate decisions at the most important position.
