Scotland call up Edinburgh trio after Ritchie and Millar Mills injuries
Scotland have lost Jamie Ritchie and Elliot Millar Mills from their Nations Championship squad after both suffered injuries on club duty, BBC Sport reported. Edinburgh props Ollie Blyth-Lafferty and D'arcy Rae have been called up alongside back-row teammate Freddy Douglas, changing the forward group before November's home internationals.

Ritchie sustained a knee injury just 10 minutes into Glasgow Warriors' 29-20 victory over Lions on Friday. BBC Sport said ankle and Achilles tendon problems had already delayed his debut for Glasgow following his summer move from Perpignan. The flanker has won 63 Scotland caps.
Millar Mills suffered a leg injury during Newcastle Red Bulls' 59-26 defeat at Northampton Saints, leaving after 55 minutes. The prop has 15 international caps. BBC Sport did not give a return date for either player, so the length of their absences remains unclear.
BBC Sport also reported that Sale scrum-half Gus Warr will join training this week. Uncapped Glasgow back Josh McKay will be with the squad while continuing rehabilitation from a hamstring injury, a separate development from the three Edinburgh players' call-ups.
The changes follow Gregor Townsend's original 37-player selection, announced by Scottish Rugby on October 26. Sione Tuipulotu was named captain of that group. The Glasgow centre had led Scotland in 15 of his 41 appearances, with Huw Jones, Rory Hutchinson, Ollie Smith and Stafford McDowall also selected as midfield options.
Scottish Rugby's initial squad included Zander Fagerson and Will Hurd among the tighthead props alongside Millar Mills. Ritchie was one of seven back-row selections, with Matt Fagerson, Rory Darge, Jack Dempsey, Josh Bayliss, Liam McConnell and uncapped Ollie Leatherbarrow also chosen. The withdrawals affect two distinct areas of Townsend's pack.
Scotland host New Zealand at Murrayfield on November 7, Australia on November 15 and Japan on November 21. Scottish Rugby said the competition then moves to Twickenham for finals on November 28-29, with match-ups determined by hemisphere standings across July's games and the November fixtures.
