Jaxon Smith-Njigba was central to Seattle's victory, catching nine passes for 150 yards and a touchdown. Sam Darnold threw for 257 yards and one score as the Seahawks improved to 4-3. Kansas City fell to 5-1 after Patrick Mahomes finished with 165 passing yards and an interception. The Chiefs managed just 213 total yards, including 50 on the ground, as Seattle limited their offensive production throughout the contest.

Kenneth Walker III, who joined Kansas City after winning Super Bowl MVP with Seattle last season, was restricted to 36 yards on 14 carries. He had entered the game averaging a league-leading 133 rushing yards. Seattle extended its streak without allowing a 100-yard rusher to 36 games, the NFL's longest active run. Travis Kelce nevertheless reached a personal milestone: four catches took him to 1,104 career receptions, passing Marvin Harrison and Cris Carter for fifth in league history.

Atlanta's victory was built on three Michael Penix Jr touchdown passes and four San Francisco turnovers, which produced 13 points for the Falcons. Penix found Nick Muse, Kyle Pitts and Drake London for scores. Rookie linebacker Kendal Daniels intercepted Brock Purdy and recovered a George Kittle fumble. San Francisco also lost Christian McCaffrey for much of the first half because of a thigh injury, further limiting an offense already short of wide receivers.

Minnesota relied on its defense to overcome limited offensive production against Indianapolis. Harrison Smith secured the result with an interception, while linebacker Blake Cashman recorded 12 tackles, two sacks, four passes defensed and three quarterback hits. The Colts dropped to 2-5 after Spencer Shrader missed two second-half field goals.

Elsewhere in the NFC North, Jake Bates kicked a 22-yard field goal as time expired to give Detroit a 20-17 victory over Green Bay. The Lions improved to 4-2 with their second consecutive win, placing them third behind Minnesota and Chicago. Green Bay fell to 4-3 and last in the division as its three-game winning streak ended.
