All 26 fighters successfully completed their weight-cutting obligations at Friday official weigh-ins for UFC Seattle, setting the stage for Saturday evening packed fight card headlined by the highly anticipated middleweight clash between former champion Israel Adesanya and rising contender Joe Pyfer.

Both main event participants hit the required 186-pound limit for their non-title middleweight bout, with Adesanya and Pyfer each weighing in at exactly 186 pounds during the formal proceedings that took place at 12 p.m. ET. Their successful weight cuts eliminate any potential complications for what promises to be one of the most significant fights in the middleweight division this year.

The co-main event also proceeded without incident, as former women flyweight champion Alexa Grasso came in at 126 pounds while Maycee Barber registered 125 pounds for their highly anticipated rematch. Both fighters comfortably made the 126-pound flyweight limit, ensuring their title eliminator bout will proceed as scheduled on Saturday evening.

One of the most emotionally charged moments of the weigh-in ceremony involved longtime UFC veteran Michael Chiesa, who successfully hit the 170-pound welterweight mark for what has been publicly announced as his retirement fight. Chiesa appearance on the scale carried additional significance given his decision to conclude his distinguished mixed martial arts career in front of his home region supporters.

The complete main card roster successfully navigated their respective weight requirements without incident, ensuring Saturday card will proceed with all featured attractions intact. Julian Erosa weighed 145 pounds while his opponent Lerryan Douglas came in at 146 pounds for their featherweight encounter that promises fireworks between two dynamic strikers.

The middleweight division will be well-represented beyond the main event, as Mansur Abdul-Malik registered 185 pounds while Yousri Belgaroui hit 186 pounds for their featured bout. Meanwhile, the lightweight division showcase features Terrance McKinney and Kyle Nelson, both of whom successfully made the 156-pound limit.

The preliminary card weigh-ins proceeded smoothly across multiple weight classes, demonstrating the professionalism and preparation of the entire fighter roster. Several intriguing matchups received official confirmation, including the lightweight contest between Ignacio Bahamondes and Tofiq Musayev, with both competitors making the required 155-pound limit.

Chase Hooper registered 155 pounds while Lance Gibson Jr. came in at 156 pounds for their lightweight preliminary bout that could serve as a potential performance bonus candidate given both fighters exciting fighting styles and finishing capabilities.

The heavyweight division will be represented by the clash between veteran Marcin Tybura, who weighed 248 pounds, and Tyrell Fortune, who registered 259 pounds. Both fighters comfortably made the heavyweight limit while setting up what should be an entertaining power versus technique battle.

The women divisions featured several compelling weigh-in results, including flyweights Casey O Neill at 124 pounds and Gabriella Fernandes at 125 pounds. Their preliminary card bout adds depth to a division that continues growing in both talent level and fan interest.

Light heavyweight action will feature Navajo Stirling and Bruno Lopes, both of whom successfully hit the 204-pound mark for their preliminary card encounter. The bantamweight division contributed excitement through the pairing of Ricky Simon and Adrian Yanez, with both fighters making the 135-pound requirement.

The strawweight division rounds out the female representation with Alexia Thainara and Bruna Brasil, both registering 115 pounds for what promises to be a technical and competitive preliminary bout between two skilled grapplers with striking capabilities.

Saturday UFC Seattle card will broadcast live on Paramount+, with preliminary card action beginning at 5 p.m. ET and the main card festivities commencing at 8 p.m. ET.
